Winchester brought out some 20% ballistics gelatin and shot at it with various PDX rounds. They used an animal hide to simulate what the bullet would do with real game. I was able to get some picture of the gelatin in mid air. If you click to see the full size image, you can even see the spatter. I risked my Iphone and propped it up in the line of fire to get a close of video of the impact for your viewing pleasure.

The Taurus Judge is not new but the Winchester PDX 410 round is. The first picture you see the end of the recoil impulse. The kick is substantial even with the large revolver`s size. Notice the end of the 410 cases. They were chewed up really badly by the pistol. I added one new round to the picture for a comparison. A couple of the rounds did not want to easily come out of the cylinder. This may be something to think about if you plan on carrying this combination.

Some of us shooting the XD-357sig at some bowling pins. It has been a couple of years since I last shot a 357sig XD pistol and I remember the recoil being more violent. Today I felt that its recoil was only slightly more than a 40sw XD pistol and was very manageable.

The Kriss 45acp SMG wow what a blast! This rifle was super accurate and was quick when used in semi-auto transitioning from steel target to steel target. And full auto is always a blast.

Chiappa (Key-ah-pa), an Italian company, released the Rhino revolver at last year`s Shot Show. The Rhino was unique in that the barrel lined up with the bottom cylinder. What this meant was that the recoil was minimized. This can be observed in the videos in which my wife and I shot full load 357mag rounds out of two different Rhinos. This is even more impressive in that this is an aluminum framed revolver. All of the samples provided had the best triggers I have ever felt from a production revolver making double taps easy.

From left to right: Some one took a wrong turn onto the long distance shooting range. The range had to go cold quick. Here I am taking some pot shots at 500yrds at a steel ram target. The Blaser rifle and Zeiss scope made it really easy. Shooters at the ready. The Blaser in all her glory. And how many of you wish you had access to a 1000 yard plus range?
